Canadian Thanksgiving happened to work perfectly in London this year -- with Leah and Ryan driving in from Grand Rapids, and Mom and Dad willing to drive up - we tackled our first turkey dinner ever cooked in our wee house....
We had quite a bit of help though ...
The Okkema clan wastes no time setting up camp in the kitchen - the more the merrier ...
Ryan prepped the best dish of the day -- Stuffing a la Harry ... still can't get Dad to write the recipe down ... he claims it changes year to year... ptsh.
We threw in little scrabble while the teeny turkey cooked in the oven ... so teeny tiny that it contained no giblets or neck! ... Stock was made with turkey wings picked up at the grocery store....never a dull moment.

Finally - we ended the evening with a birthday celebration for the 26 year old to be and a delicious pumpkin pie cheescake a la Nancy .. mmm
