Where we've been for the last month...(s)

The fruits of our labour...the cave we've been living in....the ugly caterpillar emerging as a beautiful.....alright, enough.


Here's the 'unveiling' of our shiny new basement...and giving credit where credit is due...got all my ideas from Ms Sarah Richardson...



The new bedroom in the basement...new floor, new wall colour, painted trim....It's desperately crying out for some accessories and colour (I'm thinking green)




The new living room - the TV has officially made its home down here, and thus, so have we. Hours were spent painting trim, chair rail...filling in the numerous holes and painting the two-tone colour scheme. We love this space, it feels so cozy and comfortable. Still more to do - lots of junk to get rid of, sort through (all Mike's gradeschool memories are sitting in a box behind the leather chair) and still have to sell that old dishwasher on kijiji....any takers?
