Month 6

You are starting to jump up and down in your exersaucer ... and the look of pride on your face is priceless

You were sick at the beginning of this month ... waking up screaming and inconsolable at night -- brought us right back to when you were a newborn...experienced the daytime haze for a few days.

You've tried many new foods -- sweet potato, butternut squash, avocado, applesauce, rice cereal, banana...as far as we can tell, your favorites are banana and sweet potato

You are getting lots of one on one time with Dad now that he's off on Mondays and Tuesdays for his paternity/education leave

You weighed 20lb at the beginning of the month according to Ben and Jen's Wii Fit .. well double your birth weight of 8lb 7oz! You aren't lacking in the nutrient department.

You're starting to turn to us when we say your name

You now understand that when you drop an item, it hasn't disappeared...you crane over your little seat looking for where it went. You have thus trained your parents in the never ending game of pick up Cohen's toys

Your hand eye coordination is improving steadily - we love watching you figure out the best way to grab something and get it into your mouth

You love grabbing our noses, glasses, and lips...faces fascinate you!

You still haven't figured out how to roll from your back to front ... something that I'm totally okay with you not knowing how to do!

We are in complete and total disbelief that you are half a year old. We're starting to understand how fast time really is going to go from here on in.
