This past weekend, the entire Okkema family met up in Grand Rapids to celebrate Mom and Dad's 30th Anniversary. Leah & Ryan were incredibly gracious hosts -- letting us invade their space for the weekend.
We took a family outing to Robinette's apple farm - and took on the challenge of a corn maze. We managed to find our way out, although I'm pretty sure we cheated a couple of times.

All 10 of us -- 9 of us plus one wee one in utero ... Cohen can't wait for he/she to come out!
We moved the party to Leah & Ry's house and prepared a gourmet 6 course meal for Mom and Dad -- complete with homemade butternut squash ravioli (thanks Leah ... aka Martha), grilled asparagus soup, braised short ribs on a bed of couscous with a divine sauce .... we all could have eaten that as soup. Needless to say, this family is a bit passionate about their food! Just one of the traits that we have all inherited from Mom and Dad
