Mike, being a cushy unionized hospital employee now, had Remembrance Day off - and he decided that he would do the long over due backsplash project. Within the day, he had all the tile up - another few days, and the grout was done.
Presto - a new bright white kitchen. Soon to follow - the re-painting of the cabinets to a more true white (they're looking a little creamy yellow gross right now)
